The Bible is a book that from Genesis to Revelation entails the story of an all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present being called God creating, falling in love and saving his creation from constant bad decisions. It’s the best love story ever written.

This blog will focus on the side of God and his Word, that people tend to skip or look away because it might be just too hard to handle. The truth, nothing but the truth, so help ME God.

If you know me, or if you were to ask people that are close to me to describe my personality, one of the first things you’d hear would be the word honest (some would even say brutally honest). Have I gotten in trouble because of it? Yes, quite a lot. Over the years I had to learn that I needed a filter or else I was going to end up alone, without friends, and having only my sister calling me on the weekends (because she’s a great human being). Thankfully the Holy Spirit starts acting in our lives to give us self-control. But this sense of honesty in me only grows when I read through the gospels and see how “brutally honest” Jesus was with everyone. He wasn’t playing around; he knew he had only a certain amount of time to change the world and fulfill His mission on Earth.

So I want to invite you to go on this journey with me and my upcoming blogs to discuss things that the bible talks about that are brutally honest and could shake us to our core, beliefs and religious views. The Word of God is alive, and it’s incredibly challenging and demanding of us Christians, but it is also transforming us every day.

I’m beyond excited to start this blog that I’m calling “The Honest Bible.”
